Our Story

Act 1. Virginia is for lovers

Vivian and Tony met in a class first year of college (yes, first year...). Tony started to frequently host hotpot parties, and Vivian played dumb by keep coming to Tony for homework questions. One month later, on Valentines day, Tony finally asked Vivian out, and that's how their story started.

Act 2. The Golden State

After graduation, Vivian and Tony moved to California. They maintained a long(-ish) distance relationship for two years: Vivian studied and worked in the Bay Area while Tony completed his master's degree in Virginia and worked in Los Angeles.

Finally moving in together, they purchased a house in Culver City and poured their heart into the renovation.

Act 4. The Engagement

Vivian thought she had planned the day. She chose the place - Temecula, where they had always wanted to visit - and the day, a sunny one on a long weekend, perfect for wine tasting. She even spent extra time on her hair and makeup because it was a beautiful day for taking pictures. After a couple of glasses, Tony suggested taking a drive to sober up, and they ended up at a lavender field, where Tony popped the question...
